Abstract

Calyculins B (2), C (3), and D (4) and the previously reported calyculin A (l), potent antitumor metabolites, have been isolated from the Japanese sponge Discodermia calyx. The structures of 2-4 have been determined by spectroscopic analyses including extensive NMR experiments and by comparison of spectral data with those of calyculin A.
