From Sedum acre L. (2 n = 80) are isolated by means of chromatographic methods two new alkaloids, for which we propose the names hydroxysedamine (Fig. I) and hydroxysedinon (Fig. 11). The presence of a C,,H,,NO, compound (Fig. 111), probably identic to sedacrin (NORDAL, 1946) could be confirmed. The pattern of the mass spectra is comparable with those of other piperidin alkaloids (SPITELLER-FRIEDMANN and SPITELLER, 1965) (Table). The exact location of the ring hydroxy group could not yet be determined; too little substance was isolated for other spectra1.techniques.
