Abstract

Two new β-carboline dimeric alkaloids, (±)-picrasidine G (1) and (±)-picrasidine-S (2), have been isolated from the root bark of Picrasma quassioides BENNET (Simaroubaceae). The structures were determined on the basis of spectral analysis.
