Abstract

Beside the known alkaloid (is, i'R)-tiliageine (2) and protoquercitol (4), tilitriandrine (1), a new bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid with diphenyl partial structure, was isolated from the aerial parts of Tiliacora triandra Diels and its structure elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical methods. Nine indole alkaloids have been isolated from the roots of Ervatamia yunnanensis and identified as: heyneanine (1), ibogamine (2), coronandine (3), voacangine (4), voacangine hydroxyindolenine (5), ibogaine (6), (+)-minovincine (7), voachalotin (8), and anewcompound named ervayunine (9). The structure of ervayunine has been determined from physical and spectral data.
