Colchicum decaisnei has yielded three new compounds, namely, dibenzo[b,f][ l,S]dioxocin, 4,6-dimethoxy-3,7-dimethyl coumarin and 3-O-demethyl-N-desacetyl-N-formyl-~-lumicolchicine, as well as the first report of 2 hydroxy-3-methoxy benzoic acid from a natural source.
