Abstract

The investigation of Aristotelia chilensis, afforded, in addition to aristotelinone and makonine, two new indole alkaloids, namely 8-oxo-9-dehydrohobartine and 8-oxo-9-dehydromakomakine. The structures were elucidated by high field NMR spectroscopy. © 1990.
