Three new flavonoids: naringenin 6-O-β-(3",5"-digalloylglucopyranoside), quercetin 6-O-β-(5"-galloylglucopyranoside) and myricetin 6-O-β-(5"-galloylglucopyranoside) were identified from the pods of Acacia farnesiana, together with naringenin and kaempferol 6-(5"-galloylglucoside). The structures were determined by conventional methods of analysis and confirmed by ESI-MS (negative mode) and NMR spectroscopy. © 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
