Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Two new alkaloids, <jats:italic>i.e.</jats:italic>, (2,3‐dihydro‐1‐oxo‐1<jats:italic>H</jats:italic>‐pyrrolo[1,2‐<jats:italic>a</jats:italic>]pyrrol‐7‐yl)methyl (2<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>*,3<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>*)‐3‐[(<jats:italic>β</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>D</jats:sc>‐glucopyranosyl)oxy]‐2‐hydroxy‐2‐(1‐methylethyl)butanoate (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>) and 1,2‐dihydro‐8‐methoxy‐2‐oxoquinoline‐4‐carboxylic acid (<jats:bold>2</jats:bold>), were isolated from the alcoholic extract of the whole plant of <jats:italic>Cynoglossum gansuense</jats:italic>, together with twelve known compounds Their structures were characterized by means of spectroscopic methods, especially by <jats:sup>1</jats:sup>H‐, <jats:sup>13</jats:sup>C‐, and 2D‐NMR, as well as by HR‐MS experiments and comparison with literature data.
