Abstract

<jats:p>From the methanol extract of the fruits of Forsythia koreana two new compounds, one phenylethanoid glycoside and one pyrrolidine alkaloid, have been isolated together with six known compounds. The structures of the isolated compounds were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic methods and comparison with literature data.
