Sedative activity and its active components of Zizyphi fructus

Abstract

Sedative activity of Zizyphi fructus was evaluated by potentiation of hexobarbital-induced hypnosis test and its active principles have been characterized as nornuciferine and lysicamine. A new cyclopeptide alkaloid, daechucyclopeptide-1 was isolated together with zizyphusine. © 1987 The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea.
