Abstract

Five new alkaloids, leptocarpinine, leptopine; leptopinine, leptopidine and leptopidinine were isolated, together with protopine, isohyperectine and oxohydrastinine, from Hypecoum leptocarpum. The structures were elucidated by spectral evidence. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
