Abstract

From the leaves, trunks, and roots of Erythrina crysta-galli cv. Maruba Deiko H. MURATA (Leguminosae), a benzyltetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloid, N-nororientaline (XI), a dibenz[d,f]azonine alkaloid, erybidine (XII), and three Erythrina alkaloids of spiroamine type, erythraline (IV), erythrinine (XIII), and erythratine (VII), were isolated and characterized.
