Biflavonoids from the leaves of Wollemia nobilis (Wollemi Pine) have been investigated and compared with data on other members of the family Araucariaceae. Based on 1 H and 13C NMR as well as High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) the structures of seven isolated biflavonoids were fully determined. Although all of them were previously characterised especially at Agathis and in lesser degree at Araucaria genera this is the first report on their occurrence at Wollemi Pine, one of the world's oldest and rarest plants.
