Abstract

A new alkaloid mucronatinine, has been isolated from Crotalaria mucronata. Its structure has been established using NMR and mass spectra. It has been found to be a diastereomer of retrorsine. The antimicrobial screening of mucronatinine has also been reported. © 1968.
