Abstract

<jats:p>Extraction of the fresh leaves of Ophiorrhiza filistipula ( Rubiaceae ) has yielded the alkaloids normalindine (2), 7-methoxycamptothecin (6) and strictosidinic acid (II). The configurations of the Strychnos alkaloids dolichantoside and isodolichantoside are revised.
