Two new diterpene alkaloids, souline C and souline D, were isolated from the entire plant of Delphinium souliei, and their structures were deduced by NMR spectral analysis. Delphinium souliei is used in Chinese folk medicine, Its roots showed antipyretic, antitoxic, antidysenteric and antidiarrheal activities (1). In the present paper, we report two new diterpenoids from D. soliei Franch., souline C (1) and souline D (2). Their structures were deduced by spectral analysis.
