Abstract

The leaf oil obtained from Link queenslandica B. Hyland, in 0.1% yield, contained 8-elemene (21.4%), a-copaene (17.9%), 8-caryophyllene (7.4%) and a-humulene (9.0%) as principal components. These four components accounted for over 50% of the oil in most analyses. The remainder of the oil consisted of mainly sesquiterpene hydrocarbons.
