Alkaloids from Streptomyces sp. NA-337.

Abstract

Two alkaloids (I) and (II) are isolated from Streptomyces sp. NA-337. I is unknown and possesses fat clearing activity. Its structure is determined to be (E,E)-4-methyl-2pentadienyl-1-pyrroline by its chemical reactions and the physico-chemical method. II is established as abikoviromycin obtained from Streptomyces abikoensis.
