Leaves of Teclea boiviniana yielded 2,75 010 of alkaloids. They were identified as arborinine, tecleanthine, evoxanthine, 6-methoxytecleanthine, 1, 3, 4 trimethoxy-N-methyl-acridone and evoxine ; their structures were proved by spectroscopical evidences and, for 1, 3,4-trimethoxy-N-methyl-acridone, by synthesis ; for this alkaloid, it is the first .report from natural source.
