Abstract

The hydroxylated tetrahydroanthraquinones deoxyaustrocortilutein and deoxyaustrocortirubin have been isolated from fruit bodies of a red Australian toadstool belonging to Corrinmius; the structures are proved by chemical correlation with their co-metabolites austrocortilutein and austrocortirubin.
