Terpenoids from Conyza stricta

Abstract

Recent investigation of Conyza stricta revealed the presence of four new labdane type diterpenes and natural farnesylic acid beside labda-8( 17), 13-diene- 15,19-dioic acid butenolide and 16-hydroxylabda-8( 17), 13-dienel&19-dioic acid butenolide. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by high field 'HNMR techniques.
