A new antibiotic, P-3355.

Abstract

In the course of studies on antibiotic, it was found that a new antibiotic P-3355 was produced in the culture broth of a new species of Streptomyces, Streptomyces amylovorus. The present communication deals with taxonomy of S. amylovorus, isolation, biological and physicochemical properties and chemical structure of the antibiotic P-3355.
