Abstract

lysA gene encoding meso-diaminopimelic acid (DAP) decarboxylase enzyme that catalyzes L-lysine biosynthesis in the aspartate pathway in Streptomyces clavuligerus was overexpressed, and its effects on cephamycin C (CephC), clavulanic acid (CA), and tunicamycin productions were investigated.
