Abstract

Two new aporphine alkaloids, named precassythine (1) and (+)-6S-ocotecine-N-oxide (2), were isolated from Cassytha filiformis. The new structures were elucidated by applying various spectroscopic techniques, including 1D-, D-2 NMR and HRESIMS. The absolute configurations of 1 and 2 were determined by calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD). Both compounds were evaluated for their effects on glucose consumption on HL-7702 cells at different concentrations. The results showed that the two new compounds significantly increased glucose consumption.
