Six monomelic indole alkaloids have been isolated and identified from the stem bark and leaves of Kopsia teoi collected in Malaysia. Four of them are known: kopsingine [1], isoeburnamine, rhazinilam, and lonicerine [2], The two new alkaloids, 16-epi-17-α-hydroxy-Δ14,15-kopsinine [3] and 11,12-methylenedioxykopsaporine [4], belong to the same aspidofractinine group. © 1993, American Chemical Society.
