Abstract

AIM: To study the chemical constituents of the herb of Corydalis saxicola Bunting. METHODS: Silica gel column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 were used to isolate the compounds, and spectroscopic techniques (NMR, IR, UV and MS) were used for structural elucidation. RESULTS: A new alkaloid, named cavidilinine (1), along with twenty known compounds, was isolated from the herb of Corydalis saxicola. CONCLUSION: Compound 1 is a new alkaloid.
