Abstract

[L~,-Difluoromethyleneadenosine-5'-triphosphate (AMP-PCF2P, 3) and ~,-arsono-I~,~,-methyleneadenosine-5'-diphosphate (AMP-PCAs, 4) were synthesized and were found to be competitive inhibitors of glycerol kinase. Commercially available AMP-PCP and AMP-PNP also are competitive inhibitors. The structural similarities and differences of these ATP analogs and their effect on kinase inhibition are discussed. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
