A new indolylquinuelidine type alkaloid, apodihydrocinchonamine, has been isolated from Isertia haenkeana. Its structure has been established on the basis of spectral data. An exhaustive structure revision of dihydroquinamine and epidihydroquinamine has also been made by NMR techniques (homo-COSY, hetero-COSY, NOE-difference and ROESY). ca‡|Author to who correspondence should be addressed. © 1993.
