Abstract

A new dihydroindole alkaloid, isodihydroquinamine, has been isolated from the leaves of Isertia hypoleuca Benth. Chemical and spectroscopic data show it to be a stereoisomer of dihydroquinamine, which was previously isolated from the same plant. © 1971.
