Abstract

Dolastatin E (1), a new cyclic hexapeptide containing three kinds of five-membered heterocycles (oxazole, thiazole, and thiazoline), has been isolated from the Japanese sea hare Dolabella auricularia and its gross structure elucidated by spectroscopic analysis.
