Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Four cyclic peptides, diandrine A–D (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>–<jats:bold>4</jats:bold>), were isolated from the MeOH extract of Formosan <jats:italic>Drymaria diandra.</jats:italic> Their structures were elucidated by chemical and spectroscopic analyses as cyclo(‐Gly<jats:sup>1</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>2</jats:sup>‐Trp<jats:sup>3</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>4</jats:sup>‐Tyr<jats:sup>5</jats:sup>‐Phe<jats:sup>6</jats:sup>‐), cyclo(‐Gly<jats:sup>1</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>2</jats:sup>‐Leu<jats:sup>3</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>4</jats:sup>‐Leu<jats:sup>5</jats:sup>‐Trp<jats:sup>6</jats:sup>‐Ser<jats:sup>7</jats:sup>‐Ser<jats:sup>8</jats:sup>‐), cyclo(Gly<jats:sup>1</jats:sup>‐Gly<jats:sup>2</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>3</jats:sup>‐Tyr<jats:sup>4</jats:sup>‐Trp<jats:sup>5</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>6</jats:sup>‐), and cyclo(Gly<jats:sup>1</jats:sup>‐Gly<jats:sup>2</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>3</jats:sup>‐Tyr<jats:sup>4</jats:sup>‐Trp<jats:sup>5</jats:sup>‐Pro<jats:sup>6</jats:sup>‐), respectively. Compounds <jats:bold>3</jats:bold> and <jats:bold>4</jats:bold> were stable conformational isomers. Cyclopeptide <jats:bold>1</jats:bold> showed a selective inhibitory effect on collagen‐induced platelet aggregation with an <jats:italic>IC</jats:italic><jats:sub>50</jats:sub> value of 44.2 μ<jats:sc>M</jats:sc>.
