Abstract

The butanolic and ethyl acetate extracts of Ehretia philippinensis were found to have anti-histamine release activity against compound 48/80. Rosmarinic acid was isolated and identified as the active constituent. Five cyanoglucosides (four new and one known) were also isolated. Their structures were elucidated by spectral and chemical means.
