Continuing a study of the alkaloid composition of Thalictrum minus, we investigated the roots, stems, seeds, and epigeal part of Th. minus L. from various growth sites using column and thin-layer chromatography. In addition to previously obtained alkaloids, we isolated aromoline, thalbadenzine, corunnine, thaliesimidine, and N-methylargemonine. Fifteen bases were isolated from Th. minus, with aromoline, N-methylargemonine, thalbadenzine, corunnine, and thaliximidine detected for the first time in this plant. For Thalictrum foetidum L., we investigated the stems, seeds, roots, and epigeal part for alkaloids. The total bases were separated into phenolic (fraction A) and nonphenolic (fraction B) fractions. Using alumina and silica gel column chromatography, we obtained bases (I) and (II) in addition to previously isolated ones. Base (I) (mp 219-221°C decomp.) had a UV spectrum characteristic of oxoaporphine alkaloids.
