Two new steroidal saponins, beta-sitosterol-3-O-alpha-l-glucopyranoside (3) and beta-sitosterol-3-O-beta-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 -> 6)-beta-d-glucopyranoside (4), were isolated and identified from the bark of Neolamarckia cadamba, along with 13 known compounds. Their structures were established on the basis of spectral data.
