Eight components were isolated from the roots of Murraya siamensis and their structures determined by spectroscopic techniques. Seven of the components are carbazole alkaloids, three of which, compounds 4, 6, and 7, are new natural products. The other component is the coumarin xanthoxyletin. A detailed ¹H-nmr study of the seven carbazoles in three different solvents (CCl₄, Me₂CO-d₆, and C₆D₆) is reported, as well as the ¹³C-nmr spectra of these compounds in Me₂CO-d₆.
