Abstract

Eight species belonging to the genera Filago, Ifloga, Achyrocline, Helichrysurn and Pseudognaphalium, subtribe Gnaphaliinae, tribe Inuleae (Compositae), were investigated for their flavonoid glycosides. All glycosides were found to belong to the aglycones kaempferol, quercetin, apigenin and luteolin. Calycopterin and its 3'-methyl ether were present in the free form.
