An investigation of L. scoparium afforded three new flavonoids. A previously mentioned triterpene diol appeared as a mixture of uvaol and betulinol. Two new acylated flavonoid aglycones have been isolated from the resinous exudate of Gnaphalium robustum. Their structures were elucidated by high resolution spectroscopic methods, as 5.7,8-trihydroxyflavone 8-0- (2-methylbutyrate) and 5,7,8-trihydroxyflavone 8-O-[(Z)-2-methyl-2-butenoate].
