Abstract

<jats:p> Roquefortine C was isolated from feed grain heavily infected by <jats:italic>Penicillium roqueforti.</jats:italic> The identity of the mycotoxin was confirmed by mass spectrometry. Other mycotoxins that are known to be produced by <jats:italic>P. roqueforti</jats:italic> such as PR toxin, patulin, and penicillic acid were not detected in the grain.
