Alkaloids of Bongardia chrysogonum

Abstract

Two new pyridine alkaloids were isolated from the tubers of Bongardia chrysogonum, together with a new lupine alkaloid. The structures of the new alkaloids were characterized by spectroscopic analysis and the stereochemistry was confirmed by applying Horeau's method. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
