Abstract

<jats:p>The existence of <jats:sup>1</jats:sup>N-acetyl-3-indolylm ethylglucosinolate in young seedlings of Tovaria pendula Ruiz et Pav. has been proven by HPLC and mass-spectrometric methods. This compound is accompanied by 4-hydroxy-glucobrassicin, glucobrassicin, 4-methoxy-glucobrassicin and neoglucobrassicin (<jats:sup>1</jats:sup>N-methoxy-glucobrassicin).
