Abstract

The aerial parts of Jasonia montana afforded ilicic acid and four new eudesmane derivatives, a noreudesmane, two rearranged eudesmanes, thymol-β-D-glucopyranoside and two geraniol derivatives. The structures were elucidated by high field NMR techniques; The extract of the aerial parts of Artemisia herba-alba afforded, in addition to known compounds, two new eudesmanolides, a germacranolide, an eudesmane derivative, a hydroxylyratrol and a germacrane triol.
