Indole alkaloids from Rauvolfia media

Abstract

Four monomeric indole alkaloids have been isolated from the bark of Rauvolfia media. Three of them are the known cabucine, reserpiline and mauiensine; the fourth is a new alkaloid, 12-hydroxymauiensine. © 1986.
