Two cycloartane triterpenes and 09 sterols present in Zantedeschia aethiopica along with three lignans and 09 phenylpropanoids were identified by spectroscopic means. 2-(3-hydroxy-2-methoxy)-phenyl-1,3-propandiol and 1-(3-hydroxy-2-methoxy)-phenyl-3-[(3-(1,2-dihydroxypropyl)-2-methoxy)]-phenoxy-1,2-propandiol have been isolated for the first time.
