Abstract

Taberdivamines A (1) and B (2), two new quaternary indole alkaloids characterized by a rare 1-azoniatricyclo[6.3.1.01,6]dodecane moiety, were isolated from Tabernaemontana divaricata. The structures and their absolute configurations were elucidated by extensive analysis of MS, NMR and ECD calculation. Possible biogenetic pathway of the new alkaloids was also discussed. © 2020 Elsevier Ltd
