Two rare indazole-type alkaloids, nigeglapine (1) and nigeglaquine (2) along with one known compound (3), were isolated from the seeds of Nigella glandulifera. Their structures were confirmed on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic methods, mainly NMR (H-1, C-13, HSQC, HMBC and NOESY) and ESI-MS, and comparison with data in the literature.
