A new dolabellane-type diterpene alkaloid, deoxynigellamine, together with three known dolabellane-type diterpene alkaloids, were isolated from the seeds of Nigella glandulifera. Their structures were identified as nigellamine A1 (1), nigellamine A2 (2), nigellamine B1 (3) and nigeglamine (4), respectively, based on spectroscopic analysis and by comparison of their spectral data with those reported previously in the literature. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
