Abstract

The new bisnorditerpene alkaloid akiran has been isolated from the epigeal part of Aconitum kirinense. The structure of akiran has been shown on the basis of x-ray analysis (diffractometer, CuKα radiation, 1755 reflections, direct method, R=0.064) and a study of spectral characteristics. A possible scheme of the biosynthesis of the bisnorterpene alkaloids of Aconitum kirinense is proposed. © 1995, Plenum Publishing Corporation. All rights reserved.
