Three new sesquiterpene alkaloids, 1-desacetylwilforgine (1), 1-desacetylwilforine (2), and 9'-hydroxy-2-nicotinoylwilforine (3) were isolated from the roots of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook f., along with six known alkaloids.
