Abstract

Two new indole alkaloids were isolated from Gelsemium elegans, and their structures were determined as (19R)-kouminol [1] and (19S)-kouminol [2] on the basis of ir, uv, ms, and 'H-nmr and13C-nmr spectra, as well as chemical transformations. © 1989, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
