Abstract

The structures of two unknown alkaloids (tentatively named Base A and Base D in a previous paper2)) from Stephania sasakii Hayata (Menispermaceae) were established as 4-hydroxycrebanine (1), a new 4-hydroxyaporphine alkaloid, and (R)-roemeroline (3), respectively. © 1981, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
